輕質(zhì)耐火磚選用優(yōu)質(zhì)板狀剛玉、莫來(lái)石為骨料，以硅線石復(fù)合為基質(zhì)，另添特種添加劑和少量稀土氧化物混煉，經(jīng)高壓成型、高溫?zé)?。輕質(zhì)耐火磚一般是指密度小于1.8kg/ms的耐火磚，在工業(yè)窯爐和其他熱工設(shè)備上用作隔熱材料。與一般耐火磚比較，輕質(zhì)耐火磚抗渣蝕性、力學(xué)強(qiáng)度、耐磨損性較差，高溫下體積收縮較大。
普通輕質(zhì)隔熱耐火磚生產(chǎn)的材質(zhì)有粘土質(zhì)、高鋁質(zhì)高強(qiáng)漂珠磚，低鐵莫來(lái)石、高鋁聚輕隔熱耐火磚，李藻土隔熱耐火磚。由于輕質(zhì)耐火磚具有密度小、氣孔率高、熱導(dǎo)率小、保溫性好以及有一定的耐壓強(qiáng)度等特點(diǎn)，在熱處理設(shè)備上已獲得了廣泛的應(yīng)用。

Due to the characteristics of low density, high porosity, low thermal conductivity, good thermal insulation and certain compressive strength, lightweight firebrick has been widely used in heat treatment equipment.
